Tanya Houghton is a London-based photographer and director whose work is deeply rooted in the earth and landscape. Often found working in remote and challenging terrains, Tanya undertakes a broad spectrum of projects from commercial and editorial commissions to research initiatives and exhibitions.
With a background in sociology and a creative practice that blends photography, video, sound, and interviews, Tanya brings a unique sensitivity to the communities she collaborates with. This multidisciplinary approach allows her to engage with a wide range of clients, brands, and communities worldwide, often exploring narratives set in the great outdoors.
Driven by curiosity and a spirit of adventure, Tanya seeks out human stories embedded in wild and remote landscapes.
